Kentucky’s congressional delegation is asking President Donald Trump to provide more aid for communities affected by the severe storms.Sens. Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, along with all six members of congress, sent a letter to the president expressing their support for Gov. Andy Beshear’s request for a major disaster declaration.All of them say more federal assistance is needed given the nature of the damage.President Trump approved emergency disaster relief efforts on April 4 for 120 counties impacted by flooding and tornadoes.
