A Kentucky man was cited for littering on Feb. 23 after the sheriff’s deputies said he was throwing KKK propaganda out the window of his car in Lincoln Heights and other towns along Interstate 75.
It’snotoftenthatalitteringticketendsupattrial,evenlesssofordrivingthroughaneighborhoodthrowingKuKluxKlanflyersoutthewindow.Butfacinghundredsofdollarsinfinesandfees,aKentuckymanandleaderofasmallKKKgrouphadhisdayincourtandlost.
WilliamBader,ticketedtwiceforlitteringinFebruaryafterpolicesayhethrew“propagandaflyers”fromhiscaracrossseveralCincinnatisuburbs,wasfoundguiltyThursdayofdirectingotherstolitterthepapers.HeadmittedsoduringanoutlandishtrialthathadmunicipalcourtJudgeBernieBouchard,theprosecutorandhalfadozenwitnessesvisiblyexasperatedthroughout.
