HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WSMV) – A Georgia man was reportedly hospitalized Monday night after a crash in northern Christian County, Kentucky.
The man was driving a tractor-trailer hauling live chickens when he crashed on McFarland Creek Road.
According to WKDZ radio, Christian County Sheriff’s deputies said the driver, Jean Saintil, was trying to turn around in a gravel driveway when the trailer went off the road. This caused the truck to overturn and spill part of its load of live chickens.
Saintil was transported to the old Lacy Elementary School where a helicopter flew him to a Nashville hospital.
It is unknown what happened to the live chickens.
