Vehicle fire shuts down portion of I-65

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – A portion of I-65 near Oakland is shut down due to a vehicle fire near mile marker 33.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the right and center lanes are blocked, while the left lane is currently open.
Traffic is being diverted to Exit 30 to US 68 and getting back on I-65 in Smiths Grove.
KYTC says it’s unknown how long it will take for the roadway to clear.
