LG&E and Kentucky Utilities propose generation and battery storage

Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) and the Kentucky Utilities Company (KU), subsidiaries of PPL, have submitted a request to the Kentucky Public Service Commission for a certificate of convenience and necessity.

The request aims to expand generation capacity and battery storage in response to Kentucky’s growing energy demands.
