Richmond Resident Bill Bryant recently received a big honor from the local Emmy chapter.
Bryant was recently inducted into the “Silver Circle,” which denotes television professionals who have carried out “distinguished service” within television for 25 years or more. Bryant has served in many roles at WKYT for 40 years.
After a long stint on the morning and noon newscasts, Bryant made a shift to the evening newscasts, co-anchoring the 4, 4:30, 5, 5:30, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. newscast slots for WKYT with Amber Philpott.
