KENTUCKY (WKYT) – Attorney General Russell Coleman has launched a $15 million grant program aimed at providing body armor and equipment to Kentucky law enforcement agencies.
The initiative is funded by the state’s General Assembly.
Officials say the grant will help address the pressing need among officers, with approximately 20% lacking adequate or expired body armor.
