EKU student among those hurt in deadly mass shooting WKYT

FLORENCE, Ky. (WKYT) – Kentucky families are grieving Monday after four people were killed in a mass shooting in Florence over the weekend at a birthday party.
One of the surviving victims, 19-year-old Chloe Parrett, is a student at Eastern Kentucky University.
Parrett was shot in the chest early Saturday morning at her brother’s 21st birthday party. Four people were killed, including her mother, Melissa Parrett.
Right now, Chloe is inside a Cincinnati hospital, working to recover from those serious injuries.
