CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Northern Kentucky eatery will soon re-open its doors.
Spare-Time Grill, located on Alexandria Pike in Alexandria, is under new ownership.
Lou Lou’s Café at Spare-Time Grill closed in February, just short of four years of operations. It served homemade dishes and desserts in a cute and cozy 1950s-style diner setting, paired with its nostalgic exterior.
New owners purchased the property and plan to offer favorites such as the “Spare Burger” and soft-serve ice cream. It also posted on social media that it plans to have a walk-up window.
There is no tentative opening date as the owners renovate, clean and paint, while also awaiting licensing and permits.
The original Spare-Time opened in 1958.
