(Reuters)–KentuckygovernorAndyBesheardeclaredastateemergencyearlyonMondayaftertornado-spawningthunderstormsswepttheU.S.SouthernPlainsandOzarks,killingatleast14peopleandwreckinghundredsofbuildingsasforecasterswarnedofmoresevereweather.
“Severeweathercontinuestomovethroughthecommonwealthwithmultiplereportsofwinddamageandtornadoes,”BeshearsaidinapostonX.
