None of the bills to explicitly protect in vitro fertilization in Kentucky got a committee hearing this legislative session, making them effectively dead on arrival. 

Now, with roughly eight months until the next legislative session, some lawmakers and attorneys disagree on the state of IVF in Kentucky and what protections exist for it under current law.
