HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WSMV) – Three people were taken to a hospital in Clarksville after a wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County on Thursday morning, according to WKDZ.
A Christian County Sheriff’s deputy told WKDZ that a car was traveling eastbound three miles from the Pennyrile Parkway exit when it hit standing water and hydroplaned. The car hit a bridge and stopped sideways in the middle of the road.
An eastbound tractor-trailer then reportedly collided with the car, WKDZ reported.
The three people inside the car were taken to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for their injuries. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
